As part of our expansion, we are launching our Fish & Meat Vertical, focused on building a trusted supply chain that delivers premium-quality products while maintaining the highest standards of freshness, food safety, and operational excellence.
We are looking for a proactive and result-driven Procurement Manager to lead sourcing and procurement while overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Fish & Meat Hub during the initial phase of the business. This role offers an exciting opportunity to build a new business vertical from the ground up and make a direct impact on Potafo's growth.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop and execute procurement strategies.
· Source quality products at competitive prices.
· Forecast procurement requirements.
· Build and manage supplier relationships.
· Onboard new vendors and negotiate commercial terms.
· Ensure food quality and compliance standards.
· Coordinate with hub operations for inventory availability.
· Reduce wastage and procurement delays.
· Track procurement costs and reports.
· Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Sales and Customer Support.
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
· 2–4 years of procurement/sourcing experience.
· Experience in fresh foods, fish & meat, FMCG, retail or food distribution preferred.
· Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
· Analytical mindset with good Excel proficiency.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.

Pay: ₹550,000.00 - ₹650,000.00 per year
