The Assistant Manager – Training & Skill Development will be responsible for day-to-day coordination of training delivery for DDU-GKY training centres and internal training & development activities for corporate and branch offices. The role is execution-focused, involving regular follow-ups with trainers, staff, and centres to ensure training schedules, internal process training, documentation, and SOP compliance are maintained.
Prepare and share daily and weekly training schedules for all batches.
Coordinate with domain, non-domain, and process trainers for daily session delivery.
Track trainer attendance, trainee attendance, and session completion on a daily basis.
Ensure classrooms, labs, and training materials are ready before training hours.
Coordinate with centre staff to resolve daily operational issues during training.
Coordinate deployment of process trainers for centre-level and internal trainings.
Support trainer induction and orientation on SOPs, curriculum, and internal processes.
Follow up on lesson plan adherence and training hours completion.
Maintain trainer-wise and batch-wise training records.
Report trainer-related issues (absence, quality gaps) to reporting manager.
Coordinate internal training sessions for corporate office and branch office staff.
Schedule and follow up on trainings related to SOPs, MIS usage, documentation, compliance, and processes.
Assist process trainers in organizing refresher and alignment sessions.
Maintain records of internal trainings conducted, attendance, and feedback.
Support onboarding training for new hires by coordinating process training sessions.
Collect daily training data and ensure timely and accurate MIS entry.
Verify attendance sheets, session plans, photographs, and supporting documents.
Maintain centre-wise and batch-wise physical and digital files.
Assist in preparation of weekly, monthly, and review reports.
Monitor training delivery as per DDU-GKY SOP 2.0 and SSC norms.
Identify gaps in training delivery and internal processes and report for corrective action.
Support internal audits, inspections, and government reviews.
Track closure of compliance observations and maintain records.
Act as a coordination point between centres, trainers, corporate office, and branch offices.
Coordinate with mobilisation, placement, HR, admin, and finance teams for daily needs.
Attend routine review meetings and share operational updates.
Escalate day-to-day operational and training-related issues in a timely manner.
Working knowledge of DDU-GKY SOP 2.0
Training coordination and follow-up skills
Documentation and MIS handling
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Good communication and coordination skills
Graduate (Post-Graduation preferred)
5 -6 years' experience in skill development / training operations
Experience in DDU-GKY / PMKVY / NSDC projects preferred
Adherence to daily training schedules
Accuracy and timeliness of MIS and documentation
Completion of internal training sessions as planned
Trainer utilisation and attendance
Audit and inspection readiness
