Key Responsibilities
1. Business Support
- Support industrial distributors and some identified key accounts in expanding Gulf
Oil Lubricants business within the assigned territory.
- Conduct joint customer visits with distributor sales teams and attend technical
queries.
- Identifying new opportunities and product conversion possibilities.
- Build strong relationships with distributors and key customers.
2. Pre-Sales Activities
- Study various customer processes, equipment mapping with existing competitor
products being used and understand our opportunities.
- Recommend suitable products based on application and operating conditions.
- Conduct technical presentations, awareness programs, and product
demonstrations.
- Prepare technical proposals and comparative product recommendations.
Product Trial Management
- Plan, initiate, monitor, and complete lubricant trials at customer sites.
- Prepare trial protocols, objectives, KPIs, and success criteria.
- Coordinate with customers during trial execution.
- Monitor performance parameters and collect operating data.
Customer & Market Mapping
Account Mapping
- Identify key accounts within the territory.
- Understand customer hierarchy, decision makers, and buying patterns.
- Track installed equipment base and lubricant consumption.
Market Mapping
- Analyze market segments and industry clusters.
- Identify opportunities by industry sectors and application.
Product Mapping
- Map competitor products with Gulf products.
- Identify conversion opportunities.
- Recommend suitable lubricant solutions based on operating conditions.
3. Post-Sales Support
- Monitor product performance after implementation.
- Handle customer complaints, conduct troubleshooting and ensure timely resolution.
- Support oil analysis and reliability programs.
Training & Technical Awareness
- Conduct technical training for distributors and customers.
- Educate stakeholders on lubrication best practices and reliability improvements.
- Promote value-added services like Oil Condition Monitoring.
Coordination & Reporting
- Coordinate with sales, technical services, marketing, and supply chain teams.
- Submit activity reports, trial updates, and business opportunity reports.
- Track competitor activities and market developments.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of industrial lubricants and applications.
- Knowledge of hydraulic systems, gears, compressors, bearings, MWF, and greases.
- Technical troubleshooting capability.
- Trial management and documentation skills.
- Data analysis and report preparation.
- Market analysis and account mapping capability.
- Good presentation and communication skills.
- MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) proficiency.
Educational Qualification
- B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical, Chemical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or
related field.
Experience
- 2 – 5 years of experience in lubricants, industrial technical services, application
engineering, or technical sales support preferred.

Working Conditions
- Extensive field travel within assigned territory (75%).
- Frequent visits to distributors, industrial customers, and OEM locations.
- Field-based role with technical and customer interaction responsibilities.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹633,493.48 per year
