Software & Data Operations Intern – NEET Mock Test Platform
About the Role
We are looking for a Software & Data Operations Intern with a background in Software Development and strong analytical skills to support the development of our NEET Mock Test Platform. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with structured data, educational content, and question-bank management systems while ensuring the highest levels of accuracy and data integrity.
The role involves analyzing NTA/NEET question papers, digitizing content, maintaining question databases, and handling scientific and mathematical formatting using LaTeX.
Key Responsibilities
- Parse and digitize NTA NEET question papers (Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology) from PDF/image sources into structured formats (JSON, Excel, CMS-based forms).
- Tag each question with accurate metadata, including subject, topic, subtopic, difficulty level, year, and question type (MCQ/Assertion-Reason).
- Upload and map answer keys, correct options, and explanations onto the platform's backend/CMS.
- Maintain data integrity with zero tolerance for incorrect option mapping or formatting errors in LaTeX, mathematical expressions, and chemical equations.
- Flag ambiguous, repeated, or duplicate questions and coordinate corrections with the Academic and Content teams.
- Organize the question bank into year-wise sets and topic clusters for efficient use within the mock test engine.
- Conduct basic QA/testing of uploaded questions on the live mock test interface to ensure accurate rendering and functionality.
- Support content operations by ensuring data consistency, quality, and platform readiness.
Must-Have Skills
- Educational background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Science, or a related field.
- Strong foundation in the NEET syllabus (PCB) with proficiency in at least two subjects at a competitive level.
- Familiarity with LaTeX for formatting mathematical equations, scientific notations, and chemical formulae.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; basic knowledge of JSON or CMS-based data entry is an advantage.
- Ability to work with PDFs, extract content accurately, and handle special characters, scientific symbols, and equations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to identify issues, flag blockers proactively, and coordinate effectively with internal teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with EdTech platforms, LMS, question-bank tools, or assessment platforms.
- Understanding of structured data formats such as JSON and CSV.
- Basic knowledge of databases and content management systems.
- Familiarity with how online test engines function, including question mapping and assessment workflows.

- Stipend: Up to ₹15,000 per month
- Location: Bangalore

- Working Days: 6 Days a Week
- Preferred Experience: 3–6 Months

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
