Senior Accountant – Zoho Books & Export Accounts
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant with strong expertise in Zoho Books and hands-on experience in handling export accounting and compliance. The candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, export documentation accounting, GST compliance, and generating accurate financial reports while utilizing Zoho systems to streamline accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities1. Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations using Zoho Books.
- Maintain general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Perform bank reconciliation, journal entries, and month-end closing.
2. Zoho System Management
- Configure and manage accounting processes in Zoho Books.
- Generate financial reports and dashboards.
- Integrate accounting with Zoho Inventory and Zoho CRM if required.
- Automate invoicing, payment reminders, and workflow approvals.
3. Export Accounting
- Handle accounting for export sales and foreign currency transactions.
- Maintain export documentation such as commercial invoices, shipping bills, and packing lists.
- Manage export receivables and reconciliation with bank realization certificates.
- Track export incentives and government benefits if applicable.
4. GST & Tax Compliance
- Manage GST for export transactions including zero-rated supplies, LUT, and refund processing.
- Prepare and review GST returns and related documentation.
- Ensure compliance with Indian tax and accounting regulations.
5. Financial Reporting
- Prepare monthly and yearly financial statements including:
- Profit & Loss Statement
- Balance Sheet
- Cash Flow Statement
- Provide management with financial insights and variance analysis.
6. Audit & Compliance
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors.
- Maintain proper accounting records and documentation for audits.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
7. Team & Process Improvement
- Supervise junior accounting staff if required.
- Improve accounting workflows and implement best practices.
Required Skills
- Strong expertise in Zoho Books
- Knowledge of export accounting and international transactions
- Experience with GST on exports and LUT processes
- Strong Excel and financial reporting skills
- Understanding of bank reconciliation and foreign currency accounting
Pay: ₹40,000.00 per month
