Job Title: Sr. Engineer (or) Engineer - Milling Solutions
Experience: Minimum 3 Years in cutting tools / machine tools
Qualification: B.E / B.Tech in (Mechanical, Production or Automobile)
Job Description:
- Require Application based knowledge in the field of metal cutting with experience in component manufacturing processes.
- To have relevant knowledge upon the basic grades of material impacting metal cutting.
- Experience in CNC machining operations & CAD/CAM like UG / Siemens NX / SolidCAM / Open Mind / ESPRIT / CATIA / WorkNC / Tebis / Autodesk / Mastercam
- Detailed study of Component 2D Drawings (with knowledge upon GD&T controls).
- Should be able to work on 3D models in CAM systems to generate CAM programing, suitable milling tool path & preparing projects for cycle time estimates.
- Should be able to create of machining Process Flow Sequence & Cycle Time, in addition preparing cost estimates will be an advantage.
- Should know selection of suitable cutting tools, workout suitable machining strategies, process optimization.
- Experience in CAD/CAM & handling 3-axis / 4-axis / 5-axis machines will be an added advantage.
- Should be able to individually handle customer projects offer technical support and recommendation of tools to produce components.
- For new development projects, should be able to handle from enquiry to execution individually by effective & close co-ordination with internal team and be involved in prove-out at customers.
- Should be willing to travel within specified business locations or across India based on the projects being handled.
- Experience in optimizing the existing set processes by offering productivity improvement in terms to process time reduction & increase in tool life.
- Should be able to handle customer complaints and trouble shoot at the customer place by analysis & providing suitable solutions. If support required, should co-ordinate with inter-departments, escalate the concern to resolve the same on priority.
- Engage and establish good customer relationships by offering Techno-commercial solutions.
- Creation of Reports / Database of all activities like regular / projects and correspond the same with for business conversion and maintain internal record of applications.
- Communicate effectively with customers and internal departments on applications and commercial information.
Skill Sets Required:
Study of component 2D drawings & 3D models, understanding of machining process, metal cutting applications, effective communication, problem solving through logical reasoning, good interpersonal relation, build customer rapport.
Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
