Position Summary:
We are seeking an accomplished Supply Chain Manager to lead and integrate our end-to-end supply chain, procurement, engineering, and project execution functions. This role is strategic and operational in nature, overseeing multi-location projects, vendor development, material planning, and engineering execution for new and existing manufacturing sites. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with hands-on experience in both project engineering and supply chain management within a manufacturing setup.
Key Responsibilities:
Supply Chain & Procurement:
- Lead the complete procurement lifecycle—strategic sourcing, vendor management, negotiation, and cost optimization.
- Oversee inventory management, demand forecasting, and material planning in coordination with production and sales teams.
- Ensure just-in-time availability of materials and components across all plants.
- Develop supply chain strategies aligned with business goals and expansion plans.
- Build a reliable supplier network to support both operations and new plant projects.
Project Engineering & Execution:
- Plan and execute capex projects including new plant setups, line installations, and equipment commissioning.
- Manage end-to-end project timelines, budgets, contractors, and engineering resources.
- Ensure statutory and regulatory compliance in project execution across locations.
- Implement industry best practices in project planning, risk mitigation, and documentation.
Operations and Compliance Oversight:
- Ensure alignment of engineering and supply chain functions with operational KPIs.
- Support cross-functional teams in meeting safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Monitor legal and regulatory compliance in procurement and project execution.
Team & Leadership:
- Build and lead a high-performing supply chain and projects team across multiple sites.
- Drive a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to develop internal talent pipelines.
Continuous Improvement & Reporting:
- Implement process improvements using lean, Six Sigma, or other methodologies.
- Analyse data to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas of cost savings.
- Provide regular reports and dashboards to management on project and supply chain performance.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background:
- BE / Diploma in Materials Management, Mechanical, or related Engineering field.
- MBA with specialization in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or Project Management is preferred.
- Ideal Experience:
- Minimum 8 years of domain-specific experience in plastics, packaging, or FMCG manufacturing (especially involving high-volume production and automation).
- At least 5–7 years in senior leadership roles handling multi-site operations and major capex projects.
- Strong understanding of procurement practices, vendor development, contract management, and plant engineering.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP or equivalent).
- Familiarity with project planning tools, BOMs, AutoCAD/engineering drawings.
- Deep knowledge of logistics, material flow, and plant layout planning.
- Behavioural Competencies:

- High energy, integrity, and ability to work under pressure and deadlines.
- Other Requirements:
- Willingness to travel between plants (Hyderabad, Rohtak, and new locations in Andhra Pradesh and Rajasthan).
- Strong awareness of statutory compliance relevant to manufacturing operations and project execution.
Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
