Key Responsibilities
- · EV Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose complex issues related to HV batteries, motors, motor controllers, converters, and BMS (Battery Management System) using OEM diagnostic tools.
- · Preventive & Corrective Maintenance: Execute regular preventive maintenance (PPM) for electric vehicles and coach components, including suspension, braking (regenerative braking systems), and AC systems.
- · Charging Infrastructure Maintenance: Perform maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of depot EV chargers (DC fast chargers) to ensure seamless charging operations.
- · High Voltage Safety & Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities meet safety standards (PPE usage, LOTO - Lockout/Tagout procedures) for high-voltage systems.
- · Team Mentorship & Supervision: Guide and train junior technicians on EV technology, diagnostic procedures, and safe working practices.
- · Data Management & Reporting: Record maintenance activities, breakdown root causes, and spare part usage in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- · Quality Control: Perform functional testing of buses post-repair and before dispatch to ensure 25+ safety check standards are met.
Required Skills & Attributes
Advanced EV Knowledge: Deep understanding of Lithium-ion battery packs, motor controllers, and electric drivetrain architecture.
·Electrical Aptitude: Proficient in reading electrical schematics, using multi-meters, insulation resistance testers, and diagnostic scanners.
·Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills for root cause analysis (RCA) of recurring failures.
· Leadership: Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Qualifications & Experience
· Education: ITI Diploma, Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Automobile Engineering, or equivalent.
· Experience: 3–6 years of experience in EV maintenance, preferably with electric buses or heavy vehicles.
· Certification: Prior experience with high-voltage systems or OEM certification in EV servicing is a plus.
Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
