Job title: Global PMS Technology Specialist
Serves as the organization's subject matter expert in artificial intelligence, driving the strategic adoption of AI across Quality and Post-Market processes by applying AI technologies, developing effective prompts, translating AI concepts into business solutions, and overseeing the AI portfolio to ensure compliant, efficient, and high-value outcomes.

• The greater impact of this role. : This role will accelerate Philips' digital transformation within the Quality Enterprise Service Organization & Patient Safety and Quality by embedding responsible AI into Quality and Post-Market operations, enabling smarter decision-making, improving operational efficiency, and enhancing product quality and patient safety. As the organization's AI champion within Quality, this individual will bridge business needs with emerging AI capabilities, ensuring innovative solutions are implemented responsibly, compliantly, and at scale.
- Detail elements of the team and stakeholders for this role. : Will work as part of a highly collaborative global Quality organization while partnering across multiple functions to drive AI-enabled transformation. Key stakeholders include:
Global Quality & Regulatory Affairs leadership Quality Business leaders and product portfolio teams External AI technology partners and industry working groups, as appropriate Quality Systems and Process Excellence organizations IT teams Post-Market Surveillance and Vigilance teams

1. Experience. ( in order)
More 8+years of Industry experience and 6+ in AI.
Practical experience applying AI technologies—including Generative AI—to solve business challenges and improve operational efficiency.
Experience developing effective prompts, evaluating AI outputs, and identifying use cases for AI within regulated environments.
Familiarity with AI governance, data privacy, and regulatory considerations related to AI adoption is preferred.
Experience in Quality, Post-Market Surveillance, Quality Systems, Regulatory Affairs, or a related function within the medical device, healthcare, life sciences, or other highly regulated industry.
2. Skills. (in order)
Working knowledge of Generative AI platforms (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude) and emerging AI technologies.
Excellent prompt engineering and AI communication skills, with the ability to translate technical AI concepts into practical business solutions.
Curiosity, adaptability, and a continuous learning mindset to stay current with rapidly evolving AI technologies.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities with the ability to identify opportunities for automation and optimization.
Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Post-Market Surveillance, CAPA, complaint handling, risk management, and applicable regulatory requirements.
3. Education.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Life Sciences, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Business, or a related field required.
Certifications within Ai platforms or Quality certifications
Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, Business Administration (MBA), or a related discipline preferred.

Experience contributing to AI governance frameworks, AI Centers of Excellence, or enterprise digital transformation initiatives is highly desirable.
Passion for innovation and leveraging AI to improve quality, compliance, and operational excellence.

How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
