As Farm Supervisor at Elite Harvest, you will be responsible for planning and supervising daily farm operations, leading a team of workers, and ensuring that all activities are executed on time and to a high standard. You will coordinate field activities such as land preparation, sowing, irrigation, pest and nutrient management, and harvesting, while keeping accurate records of inputs, labour, and yields. This is a full-time, on-site role ideal for someone who wants responsibility, autonomy, and long-term growth in agriculture management.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor daily farm activities including land preparation, sowing, irrigation, fertilization, pest and disease control, weeding, harvesting, and post-harvest handling.
- Allocate tasks to farm workers, track their attendance, and ensure productivity and discipline in day-to-day operations.
- Ensure proper use and basic maintenance of farm equipment, pumps, pipes, tools, and storage areas.
- Maintain clear records of seed, fertilizer, pesticide and other input usage, labour deployment, and crop yields in registers or simple digital formats.
- Monitor crop health regularly and escalate issues (pest attack, disease, irrigation problems) early with recommendations.
- Coordinate procurement of inputs and interaction with suppliers, local service providers, and logistics as required.
- Follow safety and hygiene standards for workers and safe handling and storage of agrochemicals.
- Support trial of improved practices (e.g. improved varieties, fertigation, mulching, protected cultivation) and document results.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
