Role Description The Video Editor role at Stylaria Tech is a full-time, on-site position based in Kanpur. In this role, the Video Editor will edit and assemble raw footage into polished video content for marketing campaigns, social media, and websites, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and project objectives. Day-to-day responsibilities include organizing and managing video assets, selecting and trimming clips, adding transitions, audio, motion graphics, and visual effects, as well as performing basic color correction and grading. The Video Editor will collaborate closely with the creative, marketing, and web teams to plan video concepts, interpret briefs, and deliver content on schedule. The role also involves optimizing video formats for different platforms, maintaining consistency in style and quality, and contributing creative ideas to enhance viewer engagement.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Video Editing and Video Production skills, including experience working with professional editing software.
Candidates should possess Video Color Grading skills to ensure consistent visual tone and high-quality image presentation.
Candidates should possess Motion Graphics and Graphics skills to create engaging titles, overlays, and visual elements.
Candidates should have a solid understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition for digital and social media platforms.
Candidates should demonstrate attention to detail, time management, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Candidates should have effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams on-site in Kanpur.
Experience with popular editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar) is highly beneficial.
A relevant diploma or degree in film, media, design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred
