Job Summary
The HVAC Technician is responsible for the installation, inspection, testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems. The technician shall ensure that all HVAC equipment operates efficiently, safely, and in compliance with company standards and applicable regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioners, chillers, package units, split ACs, ductable units, AHUs, FCUs, ventilation systems, and exhaust systems.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance as per the maintenance schedule.
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC equipment and carry out necessary repairs.
- Inspect compressors, condensers, evaporators, motors, thermostats, fans, filters, and refrigerant piping.
- Check refrigerant gas pressure, detect leaks, and recharge refrigerant as required.
- Clean and replace air filters, coils, ducts, and other HVAC components.
- Monitor the performance and efficiency of HVAC equipment and recommend improvements where necessary.
- Read and interpret HVAC drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Install and maintain HVAC control systems, thermostats, sensors, and electrical components.
- Ensure proper operation of ventilation and fresh air systems.
- Maintain daily maintenance records, service reports, and inspection logs.
- Coordinate with supervisors regarding spare parts, tools, and material requirements.
- Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergency maintenance calls.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures, electrical safety standards, and company policies.
- Maintain housekeeping and cleanliness of work areas and equipment.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
