- Ability to use OBD-II scanners and manufacturer diagnostic equipment.
- Knowledge of CAN bus, ECU systems, sensors, and actuators.
- Ability to interpret wiring diagrams and service manuals.
- Analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with hybrid and electric vehicle systems is increasingly valuable.
