ABOUT INDIAN TERRAIN
Indian Terrain is a 25-year-old Indian smart-casual menswear brand built on a simple truth: confidence comes
from knowing who you are. From Chennai to Delhi to Guwahati, we dress the man who shows up for himself —
quietly, without announcement. Our brand promise is” Makes You Feel Good “, and everything we make, say,
and create is in service of that.
We are at an inflection point — rebuilding our digital presence, expanding into North and East India, and
building a content engine that matches the quality of our product. This role sits at the centre of that work.
THE ROLE
We are looking for a Senior Graphic Designer who will be the visual backbone of Indian Terrain's brand across
social media, retail, and digital. This is not an execution-only role. You will work closely with the Head of
Marketing to translate campaign briefs and brand direction into content that looks and feels premium —
consistently, at volume, week on week.
You will be the in-house creative who bridges strategy and production. When a creative agency brings a
campaign concept, you make it real. When a store needs a launch kit, you build it. When social needs twelve
pieces this month, you own the quality of every one of them.
WHAT YOU WILL OWN
Social Media Content
- Own the weekly social content calendar across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn
- Design static posts, carousel formats, and story templates that are on-brand and feed-consistent
- Brief and review Reels content in collaboration with the production partner
- Build and maintain a library of reusable social templates that any execution partner can work from
Campaign & Shoot Support
- Translate seasonal campaign concepts (AW26, SS27) into visual content formats for social and retail
- Prepare shoot direction references — mood boards, framing guides, shot lists — for production
- Adapt campaign imagery across formats: social, website banners, emailers, store collateral
Retail & Store Assets
- Design in-store collateral — window displays, signage, launch kits, shopping bag inserts
- Build store opening and renovation relaunch toolkits for cities including Gauhati, Coimbatore, Bhopal
- Create POS materials that maintain brand premium without discount-forward visual language
Website & Digital Assets
- Work with the website partner to deliver on-brand banners, homepage visuals, and collection page
assets
- Ensure product page imagery and editorial pages reflect the visual language set by the brand guidelines
- Design email marketing templates in alignment with the CRM team
Brand Guardianship
- Be the day-to-day enforcer of brand guidelines across all touchpoints
- Flag and correct any visual inconsistency — in agency outputs, creator content, or retail assets
- Maintain and update the brand asset library — keeping it organised, current, and accessible
WHAT YOU BRING
Non-Negotiable
- 4-7 years of graphic design experience, with at least 2 years in a fashion, lifestyle, or premium retail
brand
- A portfolio that demonstrates editorial sensibility — not just technical skill. We want to see restraint,
hierarchy, and brand consistency, not just beautiful isolated pieces
- Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite — Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
- Strong working knowledge of Canva for templated content production
- Understanding of social media formats — what works for Instagram feed vs. Stories vs. Reels vs.
Carousel
- Ability to work from a brief independently, without requiring concept direction from above
- Comfort with fast turnaround — this brand moves seasonally and launches stores. You need to be
reliable under deadline pressure
Strongly Preferred
- Experience in Indian menswear, smart-casual, or premium apparel — you need to understand the
visual register
- Basic video editing capability for Reels cut-downs and story animations (Premiere Pro or equivalent)
- Experience briefing and collaborating with photographers, videographers, and production houses
- Familiarity with Shopify asset requirements and digital ad specifications
Who You Are
- You have strong visual opinions and can articulate why something is or isn't on-brand
- You are organised — you manage multiple live briefs without dropping quality
- You understand the difference between brand-level communication and product-level communication,
and you never confuse the two
- You are not precious about your work — you take feedback, iterate quickly, and move on
- You are genuinely interested in menswear, Indian culture, and what it means for a brand to feel modern
and rooted at the same time
