About the Role
Web Tech Solutions is looking for an experienced Hub Incharge / Team Leader to manage our first-mile pickup operations.
The selected candidate will be responsible for managing the daily pickup operation from sellers, coordinating with pickup staff and sellers, ensuring parcels are collected and processed on time, maintaining operational accuracy and ensuring smooth movement of shipments to the next hub.
The ideal candidate should have strong team-handling, logistics and operational management skills and should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
First-Mile Operations
- Manage daily seller pickup operations.
- Ensure all assigned pickups are completed on time.
- Monitor pickup routes and team productivity.
- Ensure parcels are properly collected, scanned and processed.
- Monitor pending, failed and missed pickups.
- Ensure timely handover of parcels to the next hub.
- Maintain daily pickup and dispatch targets.
- Resolve operational issues quickly.
Team Management
- Manage and supervise pickup executives/riders.
- Allocate daily routes and pickup responsibilities.
- Monitor attendance and punctuality.
- Track individual team performance.
- Set daily productivity targets.
- Train new team members on processes.
- Handle team-related issues and discipline.
- Ensure proper manpower availability every day.
Seller Management
- Coordinate with Meesho sellers regarding pickups.
- Handle seller complaints and pickup-related issues.
- Follow up on missed or failed pickups.
- Maintain professional communication with sellers.
- Ensure sellers follow required packaging and handover processes.
- Escalate recurring seller issues to management.
Hub Management
- Manage day-to-day hub activities.
- Ensure proper parcel sorting and segregation.
- Maintain accurate shipment records.
- Monitor inward and outward shipments.
- Ensure parcels are safely stored and handled.
- Maintain hub cleanliness and operational discipline.
- Ensure company equipment and resources are properly maintained.
Reporting & MIS
- Prepare daily pickup reports.
- Track completed and pending pickups.
- Monitor failed/undelivered pickups.
- Track team productivity.
- Maintain attendance and performance records.
- Share daily operational updates with management.
- Maintain accurate hub and shipment data.
Quality & Compliance
* Ensure proper scanning and shipment handling.
* Minimise shipment errors and discrepancies.
* Follow company and logistics SOPs.
* Monitor parcel damage, shortage or mismatch issues.
* Report operational irregularities immediately.
* Maintain proper documentation and records.
Problem Solving & Escalation
- Handle day-to-day operational challenges.
- Resolve rider/team/seller issues.
- Take quick action during pickup delays.
- Investigate shipment discrepancies.
- Escalate serious operational issues to management.
- Coordinate with relevant teams to close pending issues.
What We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate should have:
- * 2–3 years of experience in logistics, e-commerce, courier, first-mile, last-mile or hub operations.
- * Previous experience handling a team of delivery/pickup executives.
- * Experience managing daily operational targets.
- * Good knowledge of pickup and shipment processes.
- * Strong team-management skills.
- * Good communication skills.
- * Ability to handle sellers and operational partners professionally.
- * Good knowledge of basic Excel/Google Sheets.
- * Ability to prepare and understand daily MIS reports.
- * Strong problem-solving ability.
- * Ability to work under pressure and meet daily deadlines.
- * Good understanding of attendance, productivity and performance tracking.
- * Willingness to work from the Najafgarh location.
Preferred Experience
Candidates with experience in Meesho, Delhivery, Ecom Express, XpressBees, Shadowfax, Shiprocket, Amazon, Flipkart or similar e-commerce/logistics operations will be preferred.
Key Performance Areas
The selected candidate will primarily be responsible for:
Pickup Completion → Team Productivity → Seller Coordination → Parcel Accuracy → Timely Dispatch → Hub Management → Daily Reporting
The person should be able to independently manage the hub’s daily operations and ensure that no important pickup, parcel or operational issue remains unattended.
