About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant / Accounts Executive to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have experience in accounting software, GST compliance, billing, and day-to-day financial record management. Experience in the construction or interior design industry will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day accounting records and financial transactions.
- Manage accounting software entries (such as Tally, Busy, Zoho Books, or similar ERP software).
- Prepare and generate GST-compliant tax invoices and bills.
- Handle GST filing, reconciliation, and ensure compliance with all GST regulations.
- Record purchase and sales entries accurately.
- Reconcile bank statements and maintain cash and expense records.
- Process vendor payments and customer receipts.
- Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and MIS.
- Coordinate with the CA for audits, tax filings, and financial documentation.
- Maintain organized financial records and support administrative tasks related to accounts.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Tally, Busy, Zoho Books, or other accounting software.
- Good knowledge of GST, invoicing, PF ESI compliances and taxation.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles.
- Knowledge of MS Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), M.Com, or equivalent.
- 2–5 years of experience in accounting and GST.
- Experience in the interior design, construction, or contracting industry is preferred.
