The Assembly / Deburr Executive is responsible for performing precision deburring, cleaning, assembly, and inspection of aerospace machined components in accordance with engineering drawings, customer specifications, and aerospace quality standards. The role requires a high level of attention to detail, adherence to AS9100 quality requirements, and strict compliance with safety and process documentation.
Deburring Operations
- Remove burrs, sharp edges, chips, and surface imperfections from precision-machined aerospace components using manual and pneumatic deburring tools.
- Perform edge breaking, polishing, and surface finishing as per engineering specifications.
- Ensure components are free from foreign object debris (FOD) before assembly or dispatch.
- Handle delicate and high-value aerospace components with care to prevent damage.
Assembly Operations
- Assemble mechanical parts, sub-assemblies, and aerospace components according to engineering drawings, assembly instructions, and work orders.
- Install inserts, fasteners, bushes, pins, bearings, and other hardware as specified.
- Verify correct fit, orientation, torque requirements, and alignment during assembly.
- Perform functional checks and visual inspections after assembly.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all safety regulations, PPE requirements, and company policies.
- Comply with AS9100, ISO 9001, customer specifications, and aerospace manufacturing standards.
- Adhere to 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and Kaizen initiatives.
- Maintain clean workstations and support FOD prevention practices.
Required Experience
- 1–5 years of experience in precision machining, aerospace manufacturing, assembly, or deburring.
- Freshers with strong technical aptitude may be considered.
