The Role
As our QARA Manager, you own product quality and regulatory compliance across our hardware portfolio and every market we sell into. You are the single point of accountability for keeping our products conformant, certified, and audit-ready as we scale—and for turning regulatory rigor into a competitive advantage that accelerates partner launches.
What You'll OwnProduct Regulatory Compliance
- Own conformity across our target markets: CE marking, EU Declarations of Conformity, technical files, and the directives and regulations that apply to connected, battery-powered devices.
- Maintain the regulatory horizon calendar and keep the portfolio ahead of upcoming obligations and deadlines across markets.
Quality Management
- Own and evolve the Quality Management System (QMS), supplier quality, and the product quality processes behind our zero-defect delivery standard to partners.
Conformity Documentation & Certification
- Own technical files, declarations, and labeling data.
- Lead certification programs and manage testing, notified body, and laboratory relationships.
Producer Responsibility & Registrations
- Lead extended producer responsibility (EPR) and market registration obligations, working closely with Operations and external regulatory partners.
Partner Enablement
- Produce compliance documentation, technical data packages, and regulatory guidance that partners rely on to successfully launch products incorporating our technology.
Compliance by Design
- Collaborate with Engineering to ensure products are designed with regulatory compliance built into the architecture from the outset.

What You'll Bring
- Proven ownership of product regulatory compliance for connected or electronic hardware, including CE marking, Declarations of Conformity, and technical documentation.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements for battery-powered connected devices, including EU Batteries Regulation, EPR frameworks, RED/FCC, RoHS, and REACH.
- Strong background in Quality Management Systems (QMS), supplier quality, and product quality management within a hardware or product-based environment.
- Experience coordinating testing programs, certification bodies, laboratories, and external regulatory partners.
- Ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical engineering and operational processes while maintaining speed and compliance.
Preferred Qualifications
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification or other recognized Regulatory Affairs certifications.
- Experience across consumer electronics, industrial products, or PPE product categories.
- Familiarity with EU Authorized Representative structures and multi-country EPR registrations.
- Experience working in a fast-growing product company shipping products into multiple regulated global markets.
Pay: Up to ₹2,900,000.00 per year
Work Location: In person
