Salary: ₹35,000 – ₹45,000 per month (Based on qualification & experience)
Job Summary
Bharathidhasanar Group of Schools is looking for a passionate, experienced, and result-oriented PGT Mathematics Teacher to teach Classes XI & XII Matric. The ideal candidate should possess excellent subject knowledge, strong classroom management skills, and the ability to prepare students for the Board.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Mathematics to Classes XI & XII following the State Board curriculum.
- Prepare annual plans, lesson plans, worksheets, question papers, and assignments.
- Build strong conceptual understanding and problem-solving skills among students.
- Prepare students for Board Examinations, Olympiads, and competitive examinations.
- Conduct regular assessments, unit tests and provide constructive feedback.
- Use smart classroom technology and innovative teaching methodologies.
- Identify slow learners and provide remedial coaching.
- Mentor high-performing students for academic excellence.
- Maintain student attendance, assessment records, and academic reports.
- Communicate student progress with parents during PTMs.
- Participate in school events, staff meetings, workshops, and professional development programmes.
- Ensure discipline and create a positive learning environment.
Qualifications
- M.Sc. Mathematics (Mandatory)
- B.Ed. (Mandatory)
- CTET/TET qualification will be an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in Matric Higher Secondary Schools.
- Experience handling Classes XI & XII Board Examination batches is preferred.
Skills Required
- Excellent subject knowledge in Algebra, Calculus,Trigonometry, Geometry, Statistics, and Probability.
- Strong English communication skills.
- Excellent classroom management and student engagement.
- Familiarity with Board examination pattern.
- Ability to integrate technology into teaching.
- Good interpersonal, mentoring, and organizational skills.
