Role Summary
The Site Head will lead our client's Global Capability Centre (GCC), with overall responsibility for site operations, growth, and performance. Serve as the designated legal representative for the India entity and ensure adherence to all statutory and regulatory compliance, manage relationships with government and statutory bodies, oversee real estate and site-level financial management, and partner with global leadership to drive the GCC's strategic expansion and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the India GCC as site head, owning overall performance, culture and stakeholder satisfaction.
Serve as the statutory representative for India, ensuring full compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Represent the organisation with government and statutory bodies (labour, corporate affairs, IT/ITES/SEZ etc.), managing inspections, audits and regulatory engagements.
Partner with global leadership to define and deliver the India Center growth plan, including new functions, capabilities and headcount expansion.
Own real estate and facilities strategy for the site (space planning, leases, expansion/consolidation, workplace design for hybrid working).
Ensure reliable, safe and secure infrastructure and building services, working with landlords and vendors to maintain a productive environment.
Oversee key facilities-related vendors (security, housekeeping and other site services), ensuring quality, cost control and contract adherence.
Take end-to-end responsibility for site-level financial management, including budgets, forecasts, cost optimisation and monitoring key metrics (e.g., cost per FTE, facilities costs, support overheads).
Design and implement operational frameworks, policies and controls that enable predictable, scalable and high-quality delivery, balancing productivity metrics with customer impact and value.
Drive continuous improvement through automation, standardisation and simplification, embedding strong risk management and compliance in day-to-day operations.
Provide hands-on operational support in an agile/hybrid environment, acting as the central escalation point for high-impact issues and coordinating cross-functional responses.
Build resilience and flexibility into the operating model so the centre can scale, reallocate capacity and adapt to roadmap and business changes.
Champion a high-trust, transparent and inclusive culture, working closely with HR and local leaders, and regularly engaging colleagues through communication and town halls.
Provide dotted-line leadership to local functional heads (Provide dotted-line leadership to local functional leaders across business, technology and support functions, stepping into direct line management when required.), stepping into direct line management when needed.
Act as a bridge between India center and global teams, strengthening relationships with global functional leaders and promoting cross-site collaboration, knowledge sharing and collective problem-solving.
