Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and technically skilled Field Engineer (Projects) with hands-on experience in installation, commissioning, and maintenance of ELV and automation systems and Access Control System The candidate should have practical knowledge of security systems, boom barriers, access control systems, and networking infrastructure. The role involves onsite project execution, client coordination, troubleshooting, and technical support.
Desired Skills & KnowledgeActive Networking
· Basic knowledge of installation and configuration of Switches, Routers, Firewalls, and Wireless Access Points.
· Understanding of network connectivity and communication between devices.
Passive Networking
· Knowledge of structured cabling including Fiber, Copper, and Power Cabling.
· Experience in installation of Racks, Junction Boxes, Control Panels, and related accessories.
· Ability to identify and install mounting accessories such as poles, brackets, and supports for CCTV Cameras, Access Control Readers, and other ELV devices.
ELV & Security Solutions
· Hands-on experience in installation and commissioning of Boom Barrier Systems and RFID Boom Barrier Systems.
· Experience with Pneumatic & Hydraulic Bollards, Rapid Doors, Sliding Gates, Rolling Shutters, Swing Doors, Sensor Doors, and Tyre Killers.
· Knowledge of Flap Barriers, Tripod Turnstiles, Full Height Turnstiles, and P Gates.
· Basic understanding of Access Control Systems, CCTV Cameras, Fire Alarm Systems, PA Systems, and other security products.
· Ability to visit sites for layout verification and drawing approvals from clients.
· Experience in handling technicians and providing onsite technical support.
Key Responsibilities
· Installation, commissioning, and onsite support for ELV and automation systems.
· Execute projects as per client requirements and company standards.
· Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams for smooth project execution.
· Handle troubleshooting and provide technical support during installation and maintenance activities.
· Supervise technicians and ensure quality work completion within timelines.
· Visit project sites for survey, layout verification, and client approvals.
· Prepare project-related documentation, reports, and inventory details.
· Provide training and handover support to clients/site staff after project completion.
· Ready to travel for onsite project work whenever required.
Preferred Candidate Profile
· ITI or Diploma holder in Electrical/Electronics or related field.
· 2+ years of experience in ELV, automation, or security system projects.
· Good communication and teamwork skills.
· Ability to work independently and manage field activities efficiently.
