Job Description
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated PGT Sociology to join our residential CBSE school in Bilaspur. The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom management skills, and the ability to mentor and guide senior secondary students in both academic and residential settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Sociology to senior secondary students as per the CBSE curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, assessments, assignments, and learning resources.
- Encourage critical thinking, discussion, and analytical skills.
- Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback.
- Maintain a positive, disciplined, and engaging classroom environment.
- Mentor students and support their academic and personal development.
- Participate in residential school activities, student supervision, and mentoring responsibilities.
Eligibility & Skills
- Master’s degree in Sociology from a recognized university.
- B.Ed. is required.
- 2–5 years of teaching experience, preferably in a CBSE/residential school.
- Strong knowledge of the CBSE curriculum.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to mentor and guide adolescents effectively.
- Comfortable working in a residential school environment.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
