We are looking for an experienced Farm Manager for our 40-acre farm near Kanakapura. The candidate should have a Degree in Agriculture / Horticulture and must be willing to stay full-time at the farm.
The farm includes avocado orchard and Banana. The Farm Manager will be responsible for complete day-to-day farm operations, crop management, labour supervision, irrigation, fertigation, pest control, harvesting, and farm maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of a large 40-acre farm.
- Supervise cultivation of vegetables, fruits, and avocado orchard.
- Monitor crop health, pests, diseases, irrigation, and nutrition.
- Plan and supervise spraying, fertigation, pruning, harvesting, and farm maintenance.
- Manage and guide farm workers/labour team.
- Maintain basic records of labour, inputs, spray schedule, harvest, and expenses.
- Report farm progress regularly to the owner/management.
Candidate Requirements
- B.Sc. Agriculture / B.Sc. Horticulture preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on farm management experience.
- Must have experience managing a large farm / commercial farm setup.
- Experience managing 10+ farm workers preferred.
- Experience in horticulture crops, vegetables, fruits, and orchard management preferred.
- Must speak Kannada and Hindi.
- Must be willing to stay full-time at the farm.
Salary & Benefits
Pay: ₹25,000 – ₹40,000 per month
