Job Summary
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Data Engineering cum Architect with strong expertise in Dataiku, Python, and SQL to design and implement enterprise-scale data engineering solutions.
The ideal candidate should have 7+ years of overall experience, including a minimum of 1 year of hands-on Dataiku experience and 2+ years of Data Architecture experience. The candidate will be responsible for defining scalable data architecture, developing robust data pipelines, and guiding technical decisions across teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and architect enterprise-scale data engineering solutions, including data pipelines, ETL/ELT frameworks, data lakes, and data warehouses.
- Build, deploy, and operationalize end-to-end data pipelines and ML workflows using Dataiku.
- Develop scalable and maintainable data transformation and automation solutions using Python.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data processing, modeling, and performance improvement.
- Design and manage data infrastructure across AWS and Azure cloud environments.
- Define data architecture standards, frameworks, best practices, and technical guidelines.
- Evaluate data engineering tools and technologies and recommend suitable solutions.
- Collaborate with engineering, data science, business, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable data solutions.
- Troubleshoot performance, scalability, reliability, and data quality issues across data platforms.
- Provide technical leadership and mentor data engineering teams where required.
Mandatory Skills
- 7+ years of overall experience
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on Dataiku experience – Mandatory
- Minimum 2 years of Data Architecture experience – Mandatory
- Strong hands-on experience with Python
- Advanced SQL skills
- Strong experience in Data Engineering and Architecture
- Experience designing enterprise-scale data pipelines and ETL/ELT frameworks
- Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure
Cloud & Technology Experience
Experience with technologies such as:
- AWS: S3, Glue, Redshift, IAM, and related data services
- Azure: ADLS, Azure Data Factory, Synapse, IAM/security configurations
- Data Lake / Data Warehouse architectures
- Data pipeline orchestration and automation
- Data modeling and query optimization
Required Candidate Profile
- Strong hands-on Dataiku development experience.
- Proven experience working in an Architect-level role.
- Ability to define technical architecture and make strategic technology decisions.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Candidates who can join by 26th–27th August 2026 are highly preferred.
