Product Definition Analyst 3
- Elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements from stakeholders
- Translate business needs into clear specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Perform gap analysis and impact assessment for new features and enhancements
- Maintain traceability between requirements, design, and delivery outputs
- Contribute to solution design and functional architecture
- Define API contracts, data flows, and integration patterns for hotel distribution systems
- Ensure alignment with product vision, domain architecture, and existing ecosystems
- Collaborate with architects and developers in designing scalable solutions
- Ensure solutions support scalability, performance, and partner integration needs
- Produce and maintain:
- Functional specifications
- API specifications
- Data models & workflows
- User guides and documentation
- Ensure documentation provides clarity across distributed teams and stakeholders
- Support Agile ceremonies (PI Planning, Sprint Planning, Reviews)
- Collaborate with Product Owners on backlog refinement and prioritization
- Clarify requirements for development teams throughout the delivery lifecycle
- Review test plans and assist in validation of delivered features
- Define acceptance criteria and support functional validation
- Participate in test case reviews and defect analysis
- Investigate production issues and support resolution
- Ensure delivered features meet business expectations and quality standards
- Act as a key liaison between business, product, and engineering teams
- Facilitate discussions to align on requirements, scope, and priorities
- Communicate effectively across cross-functional and distributed teams
- High-quality, unambiguous specifications enabling efficient development
- Reduced rework through clear requirement definition
- Strong alignment between business needs and delivered functionality
- Improved delivery predictability and product quality
- Strong skills in:
- Business analysis & requirement engineering
- API/interface understanding (REST, JSON, etc.)
- Data modelling and system integration concepts
- Familiarity with Agile / SAFe methodologies
- Experience in travel or hospitality distribution (preferred)
Understanding of:
Booking lifecycle (search book pay- service)
- Supplier/provider integrations
- Distribution platforms
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving
- Ability to work in cross-functional environments
