Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Business Manager to oversee business operations, drive sales growth, manage client relationships, and improve overall profitability of our residential interior design projects. The role requires strong coordination between sales, design, procurement, and execution teams to ensure timely project delivery and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Business Development & Sales:
l Identify new business opportunities and generate leads for residential interior projects
l Meet prospective clients, understand their requirements, and convert leads into projects
l Prepare project estimates, proposals, and assist in finalizing contracts
l Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
Client Relationship Management:
l Act as the primary point of contact for key residential clients
l Ensure smooth communication from design discussion to project handover
l Handle client escalations and ensure high customer satisfaction
l Build long-term relationships and encourage referrals
Operations & Project Coordination:
l Coordinate with design, execution, procurement, and vendor teams
l Ensure projects are executed within approved budgets and timelines
l Monitor project progress, cost control, and resource utilization
l Resolve operational challenges during execution
Team Management:
l Guide and monitor sales coordinators and support staff
l Set performance targets and review team productivity
l Conduct regular meetings to track progress and issues
Financial & Reporting Responsibilities:
l Track project-wise revenue, expenses, and profit margins
l Ensure timely invoicing and payment collections from clients
l Prepare weekly and monthly business performance reports for management
Vendor & Partner Coordination:
l Maintain relationships with vendors, contractors, and suppliers
l Negotiate pricing, timelines, and service quality
l Ensure smooth material procurement and subcontractor coordination
Requirements:
l Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Interior Design, or related field
l 4–8 years of experience in business management or sales operations (interior design / real estate preferred)
l Strong understanding of residential interior execution processes
l Experience in handling high-value residential projects
Skills & Competencies:
l Strong communication and negotiation skills
l Client handling and closing expertise
l Excellent coordination and multitasking abilities
l Financial understanding of project costing and margins
l Leadership and team management skills
l Problem-solving and decision-making capability
l Proficiency in MS Excel, CRM tools, and basic project management software
Preferred Skills (Added Advantage):
l Experience in residential interiors or construction industry
l Knowledge of modular kitchens, wardrobes, and custom furniture
l Familiarity with vendor sourcing and cost optimization
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
