Key Responsibilities
Architectural Design & Development
- Lead the design development of commercial, IT, corporate office, and mixed-use projects from concept stage to execution.
- Prepare, review, and coordinate architectural drawings, layouts, elevations, sections, and detailed working drawings.
- Develop design concepts considering functionality, aesthetics, client requirements, and project feasibility.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable building regulations, project specifications, and quality standards.
- Provide innovative and practical design solutions for complex architectural challenges.
Commercial / IT Project Expertise (Mandatory)
- Must have experience in designing and coordinating commercial buildings, IT parks, corporate offices, and high-rise commercial developments.
- Strong understanding of:
- Corporate office planning
- IT workspace requirements
- Space planning and efficiency optimization
- MEP coordination for commercial projects
- Façade design coordination
- Core & shell development
- Fit-out coordination
- Experience in coordinating with clients, PMC, consultants, and execution teams for commercial and IT projects.
Consultant Coordination & Design Management
- Coordinate effectively with Architectural, Structural, MEP, Façade, Landscape, Fire & Life Safety, and other specialist consultants.
- Review and integrate consultant drawings to ensure alignment with architectural intent, project requirements, and execution feasibility.
- Lead design coordination meetings with consultants, project teams, and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor consultant deliverables, timelines, and quality of submissions.
- Identify design conflicts and ensure timely resolution with concerned consultants.
- Ensure coordination between architectural drawings, structural drawings, MEP services, and construction requirements.
- Provide technical clarifications and design inputs during the construction stage.
- Maintain design documentation, revision control, and ensure timely circulation of approved drawings.
Technical & Execution Support
- Review construction drawings, shop drawings, material specifications, and technical submissions.
- Provide technical guidance during project execution.
- Ensure design intent is maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify site-related design issues and provide effective solutions.
- Coordinate with project execution teams for smooth implementation of design requirements.
Team Management
- Guide and mentor junior architects and design team members.
- Manage design deliverables, timelines, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with internal departments including Projects, MEP, Procurement, and Sales teams.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture (B.Arch.) / Master’s Degree in Architecture preferred.
- Registered Architect preferred.
- 8–12 years of experience in architectural design and coordination.
- Mandatory experience in Commercial / IT Building Projects.
- Experience working with real estate developers, architectural firms, or PMC organizations.
- Proficiency in:
- AutoCAD (Mandatory)
- Revit (Preferred)
- Sketch Up / 3D Visualization tools
- MS Office
- Strong knowledge of NBC, local development regulations, and approval processes.
- Excellent communication, presentation, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
