CONSULTANT - GENERAL MEDICINE - VIT CAMPUS
The General Physician will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions, providing preventive care, and managing chronic illnesses. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent clinical judgment, strong communication skills, and a commitment to patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough medical examinations and patient assessments
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests
- Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans
- Provide preventive care, health education, and lifestyle counseling
- Manage chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and asthma
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Collaborate with specialists and other healthcare professionals as needed
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
Qualifications
- MD, DNB, or equivalent qualification in General Medicine from a recognized institution.
- TNMC registration as required by applicable regulations.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience (Freshers welcome)
