Job Summary
The Associate – Accounts is responsible for supporting accounting operations, maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and assisting in compliance and advisory services for clients. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of accounting standards and taxation regulations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Maintain accurate financial records for multiple clients.
- Record journal entries, invoices, payments, and bank transactions.
- Perform bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
2. Financial Reporting
- Prepare financial statements (Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, Cash Flow).
- Generate MIS reports and financial summaries for management.
- Assist in variance analysis and budgeting support.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Accounting , Finance or Commerce
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
- 1–3 years of accounting experience (consulting/CA firm preferred)
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards
- Proficiency in Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho, SAP, or similar software
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Strong communication and analytical abilities
