The Insurance Renewal Executive is responsible for managing and renewing motor insurance policies for customers. This role focuses on ensuring timely renewals, maintaining customer relationships, and coordinating with insurance providers to deliver seamless service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Track and manage upcoming motor insurance policy renewals (cars, two-wheelers, commercial vehicles).
- Contact customers via calls, emails, or messages to remind them about policy expiry.
- Explain renewal options, policy benefits, and any changes in premiums or coverage.
- Coordinate with insurance companies such as ICICI Lombard, HDFC ERGO, or Bajaj Allianz General Insurance to get quotes and process renewals.
- Assist customers in choosing the right insurance plan based on their needs.
- Generate and share quotations, follow up for closure, and ensure policy issuance.
- Maintain accurate customer records and renewal data in CRM systems.
- Handle customer queries, complaints, and documentation requirements.
- Achieve renewal targets and contribute to revenue growth.
- Ensure compliance with IRDAI guidelines and company policies.
Required Skills:
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Customer service orientation.
- Basic understanding of motor insurance policies (OD, TP, comprehensive plans).
- Ability to meet targets and deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (preferred).
- Prior experience in insurance, automobile dealerships, or sales (0–3 years typically).
- IRDAI certification (preferred but not always mandatory).
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Renewal conversion rate.
- Number of policies renewed per month.
- Customer retention rate.
- Revenue generated from renewals.
- Customer satisfaction score.
Work Environment:
- Typically based in automobile dealerships, insurance companies, or broker firms.
- May involve calling customers and occasional coordination with field teams.
