Job Description
Moksha Retails Global Private Limited is hiring Area Sales Managers (ASM) for its NU Television business to drive offline distribution growth across multiple territories.
The role involves building and scaling distributor networks, expanding retail reach, driving primary and secondary sales, and managing field sales execution.
Key Responsibilities1. Distribution Management
- Identify, appoint, and activate distributors in assigned territories
- Build a strong and scalable distribution network
- Align distributors on commercial terms and business plans
2. Retail Expansion
- Increase active retail outlets and market coverage
- Ensure product availability across key markets and towns
- Implement structured beat plans for effective coverage
3. Sales Management
- Drive primary sales (billing to distributors)
- Ensure strong secondary sales (offtake to retailers)
- Maintain a healthy balance between primary and secondary sales
4. Inventory & Market Health
- Maintain Secondary/Primary sales ratio ≥ 85%
- Monitor distributor stock levels
- Drive liquidation of slow-moving inventory
5. Market Execution
- Ensure merchandising and visibility compliance ≥ 90%
- Execute trade schemes and promotional activities
- Conduct regular market visits and audits
6. Team Management
- Manage RSOs / Sales Officers
- Drive productivity, coverage efficiency, and performance
- Conduct regular reviews and training sessions
7. Reporting & Analysis
- Track sales performance and coverage metrics
- Prepare weekly/monthly reports
- Provide actionable market insights
Eligibility Criteria
- 4–8 years of experience in offline sales/distribution
- Industry preference: Consumer Durables / Electronics / FMCG
- Strong experience in distributor appointment and territory expansion
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets
- Experience in managing field sales teams
- Good analytical and reporting skills
- Willingness to travel extensively
