Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager – Corporate Events to lead the end-to-end planning and execution of corporate events. The ideal candidate will oversee event production, fabrication, technical operations, logistics, vendor management, budgeting, and on-site execution to ensure seamless project delivery within timelines and budgets. This role requires strong leadership, operational excellence, and the ability to manage multiple high-impact events in a fast-paced environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesEvent Production & Planning
- Develop detailed production plans, execution schedules, and event timelines.
- Prepare BOQs for fabrication, branding, AV, décor, and event infrastructure.
- Create production layouts, stage plans, branding zones, and technical setup plans.
- Ensure smooth coordination across all phases of event execution.
Fabrication & Technical Operations
- Manage fabrication of stages, backdrops, kiosks, exhibition stalls, sets, and installations.
- Coordinate with fabrication and technical vendors for production, installation, quality checks, and dismantling.
- Oversee LED walls, sound systems, lighting, projection equipment, trussing, staging, and power distribution.
- Conduct technical rehearsals, AV testing, and ensure compliance with venue safety standards.
Venue & Vendor Management
- Identify and evaluate venues for conferences, exhibitions, product launches, and corporate events.
- Conduct site inspections to assess technical feasibility and operational requirements.
- Manage vendor sourcing, negotiations, budgeting, performance, and timely delivery.
- Coordinate permissions and operational support with venue management teams.
Logistics & Resource Management
- Plan transportation and movement of production materials and technical equipment.
- Coordinate loading, unloading, installation schedules, inventory, and dispatch.
- Ensure timely availability of all event resources.
Event Execution
- Lead on-site production from setup through event completion.
- Supervise branding installations, stage setup, registration areas, backstage operations, and technical execution.
- Manage technicians, production crews, electricians, fabricators, and installation teams.
- Resolve operational issues quickly to ensure flawless event delivery.
Stakeholder Coordination & Risk Management
- Collaborate with client servicing, creative, design, and project teams.
- Identify operational risks and implement contingency plans.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, venue regulations, and safety guidelines.
- Maintain high levels of client satisfaction throughout execution.
Post-Event Operations
- Oversee dismantling, asset returns, vendor closure, and venue handover.
- Prepare post-event reports, project reviews, and recommendations for process improvements.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Certification in Event Management or Project Management is an added advantage.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- 5–8 years of experience in corporate event management or event production.
- Proven experience handling multiple large-scale corporate events simultaneously.
- Strong negotiation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively and work weekends, holidays, and overnight during event setup and execution.
