They ensure smooth production while strictly following regulatory guidelines like current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Job Summary
- Position: Production Machine Operator – Oral Solid Dosage (OSD)
- Department: Formulation Production / Manufacturing
- Core Goal: To operate specialized OSD machinery efficiently to meet daily manufacturing targets while ensuring zero contamination and strict quality standards
Machine Operation: Hand-on operation of core OSD equipment including Rapid Mixer Granulators (RMG), Fluid Bed Dryers (FBD), Blending, Compression machines, Capsule Filling machines, and Coating machines.
Documentation & Compliance
- cGMP Adherence: Maintain a sterile cleanroom environment by following exact gowning and personal hygiene procedures.
- Line Clearance: Execute strict line clearance protocols before starting a new batch to avoid cross-contamination from previous materials.
- Machine Setup: Perform equipment assembly, disassembly, parameter adjustment, and changeovers according to product specifications.
Education: Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, ITI, or a B.Sc. degree.
Experience: Generally requires 1 to 5 years of hands-on technical experience in a regulated pharmaceutical formulation unit.
