Job Description
TAAC – The Akshaya Academy Campus is looking for a passionate and dedicated Primary Mathematics Teacher to teach Grade 3 Mathematics and Kindergarten (KG) students. The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom management skills, and the ability to make mathematics engaging through activity-based learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Mathematics for Grade 3 and basic numeracy concepts for Kindergarten (KG).
- Plan and deliver interactive, age-appropriate lesson plans.
- Foster a positive, engaging, and child-friendly classroom environment.
- Assess student learning and provide timely feedback to students and parents.
- Integrate hands-on activities, teaching aids, and technology into classroom instruction.
- Participate in school events, meetings, and academic planning.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics/Science/Education (B.Sc./B.A. with Mathematics preferred).
- B.Ed. is preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in Primary School (experience handling KG is an added advantage).
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Passion for working with young learners using creative and activity-based teaching methods.
- Good classroom management and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of CBSE curriculum.
- Ability to create engaging worksheets and classroom activities.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with digital teaching tools.
