Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Endoscopy Technician to join our team. The candidate should have hands-on experience in assisting endoscopic procedures and maintaining endoscopy equipment and infection control standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting in procedures such as OGD Scopy, Colonoscopy, and Bronchoscopy
- Handling and disinfection of endoscopy scopes and related equipment
- Ensuring readiness and proper functioning of anaesthesia equipment
- Managing and maintaining the anaesthesia trolley
- Assisting doctors during minor procedures in the Endoscopy Unit
- Maintaining cleanliness and infection control protocols within the department
- Coordinating with nursing staff and consultants for smooth procedure flow
Requirements:
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in an Endoscopy Unit
- Knowledge of scope handling, cleaning, and disinfection protocols
- Basic understanding of anaesthesia equipment management
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment
