Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience and a good understanding of day-to-day accounting operations.
The candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, handling invoices, reconciling accounts, and supporting other accounting and financial activities.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records.
- Handle day-to-day accounting transactions and entries.
- Prepare invoices, bills, receipts, and payment records.
- Perform bank and ledger reconciliations.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Assist with monthly and annual financial reports.
- Maintain proper documentation of financial transactions.
- Coordinate with internal teams regarding payments and expenses.
- Assist with GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance as required.
- Support the senior management/team with accounting-related tasks.
- Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of financial information.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field preferred.
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Familiarity with Tally/ERP and MS Excel.
- Knowledge of GST and TDS will be an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Salary & Benefits
- Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month, depending on experience and skills.
