Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Machine Shop Maintenance Engineer with 5+ years of experience in maintaining CNC, VMC, HMC, and conventional machines. The candidate should have strong troubleshooting skills and be capable of ensuring maximum machine uptime, preventive maintenance, and smooth production operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of machine shop equipment.
- Maintain CNC, VMC, HMC, Turning Centers, SPMs, and conventional machines.
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical faults.
- Ensure minimum machine downtime and maximum productivity.
- Plan and execute scheduled maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with production teams to resolve machine-related issues promptly.
- Monitor machine performance and recommend improvements.
- Maintain maintenance records, reports, and spare parts inventory.
- Ensure proper functioning of lubrication, coolant, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Support machine installation, commissioning, and relocation activities.
- Implement TPM, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of CNC/VMC/HMC machine maintenance.
- Experience in hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to read machine manuals, drawings, and electrical schematics.
- Root cause analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of PLC troubleshooting is preferred.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Qualification
- Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related Engineering discipline.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- 5+ years of experience in machine shop maintenance.
- Experience in engineering, automotive, foundry, or manufacturing industries.
- Hands-on experience in preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple maintenance activities.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
