Job Title: Faculty – Teacher Education
CANDIDATES WITH EXPERIENCE INTEACHER EDUCATION & PhD IN EDUCATION WILL ONLY BE CONSIDERED
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality instruction in Teacher Education programmes, ensuring alignment with programme objectives, learning outcomes, and international academic standards.
- Develop, review, and update curriculum content to reflect current educational research, policies, and best practices.
- Integrate innovative teaching methodologies, educational technologies, and AI-informed approaches to enhance student learning and engagement.
- Provide academic advising and mentorship to students, supporting their academic progression, professional development, and career aspirations.
- Foster an inclusive, supportive, and collaborative learning environment that promotes student success and wellbeing.
- Contribute to programme development and quality assurance initiatives in line with institutional and accreditation requirements.
- Support accreditation, validation, and compliance processes through the preparation of reports, documentation, and implementation of recommendations.
- Engage in scholarly activities and continuous professional development to remain current with developments in education and teacher training.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessment outcomes, and academic performance.
- Participate in departmental meetings, academic committees, and institutional activities as required.
- Promote critical engagement with contemporary educational issues, including inclusion, student wellbeing, assessment practices, educational policy, and the evolving landscape of teaching and learning.
- Prepare students for professional practice by incorporating relevant international education perspectives and real-world educational contexts.
Required Skills, Abilities and Knowledge
- Proven excellence in teaching at the higher education level with the ability to deliver engaging and effective learning experiences.
- Strong understanding of contemporary educational issues, policies, and emerging trends in education.
- Knowledge of international education systems, particularly IB and British curriculum frameworks.
- Ability to integrate technology and AI-informed pedagogical approaches into teaching and learning.
- Excellent communication, presentation, mentoring, and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to student-centred learning, inclusion, diversity, and educational excellence.
- Ability to contribute to curriculum development, programme enhancement, and academic quality assurance processes.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional learning and academic development.
Education and Experience
- Doctorate (PhD/EdD) in Education or a closely related discipline is highly preferred.
- Candidates with a Master's Degree in Education or a related field and exceptional professional experience may also be considered.
- Significant teaching, academic, or leadership experience within higher education, teacher education, or related educational settings.
- Substantial experience and exposure to international education environments, particularly within IB and/or British curriculum schools, is highly desirable.
- Experience in curriculum design, teacher training, educational leadership, or professional development programmes will be an added advantage.
- Demonstrated understanding of emerging pedagogical practices and the impact of AI-driven environments on education.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
