Role Description
Proxgy is seeking a full-time Back End Developer for its office in Gurugram. In this on-site role, the candidate will
be responsible for building and maintaining server-side applications, designing and implementing APIs, and
ensuring responsive performance. The role includes collaborating with front-end developers, troubleshooting and
debugging server issues, and enhancing software performance to meet organizational and user needs.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Back-End Web Development and Software Development
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend applications using Node.js and Nest.js
- Write and maintain unit test cases to ensure code coverage and quality assurance
- Collaborate in peer programming sessions and conduct code reviews
- Design and maintain database structures using PostgreSQL
- Optimize PostgreSQL queries and work with ORMs in TypeScript (TypeORM, Prisma)
- Build and maintain containerized applications using Docker/Kubernetes
- Contribute to architecture design, scalability, and performance optimization
- Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Focus on code quality and performance
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 2–5 years of experience in backend development using Node.js and Nest.js
- Prior experience in IoT, AI, or related fields is advantageous
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
- Ability to design and develop scalable distributed systems
- Experience with at least one cloud platform such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
