Responsible for the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all electrical systems within the mall to ensure safe and uninterrupted operations for tenants, customers, and common areas. Duties typically include maintaining lighting, power distribution systems, electrical panels, generators, and emergency systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect, maintain, and repair electrical installations and equipment.
- Monitor and maintain LT panels, DBs, switchgear, transformers, and power distribution systems.
- Maintain indoor, outdoor, and parking area lighting systems.
- Attend electrical breakdowns and carry out troubleshooting.
- Operate and monitor DG sets, UPS systems, and emergency lighting.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance as per schedule.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities and equipment status.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and tenants for electrical works.
- Support mall events and tenant fit-outs requiring electrical services.
- Report major faults and recommend corrective actions.
Qualifications
- ITI Electrician / Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Valid Electrical License (as per local regulations).
- 1–3 years of experience in malls, commercial buildings, hotels, or large facilities.
- Knowledge of electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and testing equipment.
- Familiarity with DG sets, transformers, UPS, and lighting control systems.
