Job Summary:
The Junior External Compliance Officer will assist the Compliance Department in ensuring that the company's operations comply with applicable regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies. The role involves coordinating with external agencies, preparing compliance reports, maintaining documentation, and supporting regulatory audits and inspections.
Key Responsibilities
External Coordination
* Coordinate with banks, payment partners, legal consultants, auditors, and regulatory authorities.
* External Visits (Within different states)
* Prepare responses to compliance-related queries received from external stakeholders.
* Assist during regulatory inspections and compliance audits.
* Ensure timely submission of statutory reports and declarations.
Documentation & Reporting
* Maintain compliance files, licenses, registrations, and statutory records.
* Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly compliance reports.
* Maintain records of regulatory communications and compliance deadlines.
* Assist in drafting SOPs and compliance policies.
Risk & Controls
* Identify compliance risks and report potential violations.
* Assist in implementing internal controls to mitigate regulatory risks.
* Support periodic compliance reviews and internal audits.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Law, Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
* 0–2 years of experience in Compliance, Banking, FinTech, NBFC.
Required Skills
* Basic knowledge of Cryptocurrency and Blockchain.
* Understanding of KYC, AML, CFT, PMLA, FIU-IND, FEMA, and RBI guidelines.
* Strong documentation and record-keeping skills.
* Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Google Workspace.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

* Timely completion of compliance documentation.
* Accuracy of regulatory reports.
* Zero missed regulatory deadlines.
* Timely escalation of suspicious activities.
* Successful completion of compliance audits.

Compensation
* Salary: As per Interview and company norms
