TGT/Secondary Social Science (Grades 6–10) - CBSE Board: Delivering the NCERT curriculum with a focus on conceptual clarity, analytical thinking, and Board Exam readiness.
TGT/Secondary Social Science (Grades 6–10) - Maharashtra State Board: Teaching SSC curriculum with strong alignment to state-level academic standards and assessment patterns.
Key Responsibilities
Curriculum Delivery: Plan and deliver engaging lessons across History, Geography, Political Science (Civics), and Economics, making subjects relatable and context-driven.
Board Preparation: For higher grades, conduct structured revision sessions, practice previous years' question papers, and guide students on answer-writing techniques and time management.
Lesson Planning: Develop well-structured lesson plans aligned with curriculum goals, integrating ICT tools, presentations, and real-world case studies.
Assessment: Evaluate student progress through regular tests, assignments, map work, and project-based assessments. Maintain accurate academic records.
Student Engagement: Encourage discussions, debates, and critical thinking to help students connect concepts with current affairs and real-life situations.
Student Support: Identify learning gaps and provide targeted remedial support to ensure steady academic progress.
Classroom Management: Maintain a disciplined, inclusive, and student-friendly classroom environment.
Candidate Profile
Education: B.A./M.A. in Social Science (History/Geography/Political Science/Economics) with a mandatory B.Ed. degree. (Non B.Ed can be considered in case of good knowledge and strong skillset)
Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience in the respective boards (CBSE/SSC).
Skills: Strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to make theoretical concepts engaging and easy to understand.
Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using digital teaching tools, presentations, and online academic systems.
Working Hours & Benefits
Shift Timing: 7-hour workday (e.g., 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM or 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM).
