Full job description
Main duties (motor and iron core work)
- Assemble motor core laminations (stacking, aligning, and fixing silicon‑steel sheets) as per drawing or work‑instruction.
- Fit and fix stator core, rotor core, shafts, bearings, and other mechanical parts of the motor.
- Help in winding coils or preparing wound coils for core insertion, under supervision of a skilled worker.[nccareers]
- Use hand tools, power tools, and basic measuring instruments (vernier, micrometer, etc.) to ensure correct dimensions and clearances.
- Perform visual inspection and basic checks on assembled core and motor parts for defects, missing items, or misassembly.
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area, follow safety rules, and obey instructions from the line‑in‑charge or supervisor.
Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
