Job Title: Estimation & Tendering Engineer

Role Overview
The Estimation & Tendering Engineer will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, BOQs, and tender documentation for various civil and mechanical projects. The role involves analyzing drawings and specifications, coordinating with vendors for material quotations, and ensuring timely submission of competitive bids. The position requires strong technical knowledge, commercial awareness, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities

Study tender documents, drawings, and technical specifications to identify requirements.

Prepare detailed BOQs, rate analyses, and cost estimates based on project scope.

Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors for quotations and technical clarifications.

Compile and submit pre-qualification, technical, and commercial bid documents within deadlines.

Support management in bid evaluation, negotiations, and cost optimization.

Maintain updated knowledge of CPWD/DSR standards and current market rates.
Qualifications & Skills

B.E./B.Tech in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.

6–8 years of experience in estimation or tendering within the construction/EPC industry.

Proficiency in estimation tools and MS Excel.

Strong analytical and commercial acumen with knowledge of contract terms.

Excellent communication and coordination skills to work with internal teams, vendors, and clients.
