We're excited to announce the opening of a new SIP Abacus center in Thrikkakara, Ernakulam, and we're looking for passionate, enthusiastic individuals to join us as Abacus Teachers. No prior teaching experience? No problem — comprehensive training will be provided!
About the Role
As a SIP Abacus Teacher, you'll help children develop mental math skills, concentration, and confidence through the proven abacus methodology. You'll be part of a supportive team dedicated to student success.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching & Classroom Management
- Conduct engaging online and offline classes as scheduled
- Follow the SIP curriculum and lesson plans to deliver effective sessions
- Maintain a positive, disciplined, and interactive learning environment
- Conduct compensation and extra classes when needed
Student Development
- Monitor each student's progress and provide personalized feedback
- Motivate students to practice regularly for improved speed and accuracy
- Share progress updates with the Center Head and management
Training & Growth
- Complete all required GMC training levels
- Attend workshops and upskilling sessions to stay current with teaching methods
What We're Looking For
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field
- No prior teaching experience required — full training provided on a "pay & earn" basis
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable using digital tools and online teaching platforms
- Willingness to work on weekends
