As an SEO Content Writer Intern, you'll primarily focus on creating high-quality, engaging, and conversion-driven content for our website. Alongside writing, you'll collaborate with the SEO team to ensure your content is optimized for search engines and reaches the right audience.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys storytelling, understands customer intent, and wants to build a career in content marketing and SEO.
Key ResponsibilitiesContent Writing (70%)
- Write engaging, well-researched, and SEO-friendly blog articles on fashion and lifestyle topics.
- Create compelling category page descriptions, collection page copy, and landing page content.
- Write product-focused content that helps customers make informed buying decisions.
- Develop style guides, fashion tips, buying guides, and seasonal trend articles.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice across all website content.
- Research industry trends, customer behavior, and competitor content to create valuable and original content.
- Proofread and edit content to ensure clarity, accuracy, grammar, and readability.
- Work closely with the marketing team to create content that supports campaigns and promotions.
SEO (30%)
- Conduct basic keyword research using tools like Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Similarweb.
- Naturally incorporate target keywords into content while maintaining readability.
- Optimize meta titles, meta descriptions, headings, image alt text, and internal linking.
- Understand search intent and create content that aligns with user needs.
- Monitor content performance using Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Search Console.
- Suggest updates and improvements for existing content based on SEO performance.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months of experience in content writing, SEO, digital marketing, or a related field.
- Excellent written English with strong grammar and attention to detail.
- Ability to write clear, engaging, and reader-friendly content.
- Basic understanding of SEO concepts, including keyword research, on-page SEO, and search intent.
- Experience writing blogs, website copy, category pages, product descriptions, or landing pages.
- A portfolio of writing samples is required.
