Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced CNC Turning Center Programmer & Setter to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in CNC turning machine programming, machine setup, tool setting, process optimization, and production support while maintaining quality and productivity standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and modify CNC programs for Turning Center machines.
- Perform machine setup, tool setting, and offset adjustments.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and process sheets.
- Select appropriate cutting tools, inserts, fixtures, and machining parameters.
- Conduct trial runs and optimize cycle times.
- Ensure dimensional accuracy using precision measuring instruments.
- Troubleshoot machining and programming issues.
- Monitor production quality and maintain process documentation.
- Perform preventive maintenance and maintain machine cleanliness.
- Follow safety and quality standards during production.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of CNC Turning Center programming and machine setup.
- Experience with Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi, or Haas CNC controllers.
- Good understanding of G-Code and M-Code programming.
- Knowledge of tooling selection, tool offsets, and fixture setting.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.
- Hands-on experience with precision measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Bore Gauge, and Dial Gauge.
- Knowledge of production planning, cycle time reduction, and process improvement.
Qualifications
- Diploma/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or ITI (Turner/Machinist/CNC Operator).
- 3–8 years of relevant experience in a CNC machining or manufacturing environment.

- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts, if required.
Pay: ₹20,000.78 - ₹30,000.07 per month
