About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Pattern Maker with a strong background in knitted garments. The ideal candidate should have expertise in pattern making, garment evaluation, technical documentation, and fabric consumption analysis using industry-standard software.
Key Responsibilities
- Create garment patterns using Gemini CAD System.
- Develop technical packs using CorelDRAW.
- Prepare print and embroidery artworks using CorelDRAW.
- Calculate fabric consumption through marker making in Gemini CAD.
- Conduct garment evaluation for both 2D (Flat) and 3D (Fit on Model) samples.
- Participate in Bulk Execution (BE) meetings and hand over approved styles to production.
- Review and approve production samples (First Bundle Approval).
- Coordinate with merchandising, sampling, and production teams to ensure accurate execution of styles.
Required Skills
- Strong expertise in pattern making using CAD software, especially for complex ladies' garment styles.
- Proficiency in Gemini CAD System and CorelDRAW.
- Experience in fabric consumption calculation and auto marker making.
- Good garment construction, fitting, and quality evaluation skills.
- Strong sewing and technical garment knowledge.
- Good English communication skills (Reading, Writing & Speaking).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a quick learning attitude.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Minimum 4 + years of experience in pattern making for leading knitwear brands.
- Experience in the Knitted Garments/Textile Industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Textile Technology, Fashion Technology, or any relevant UG/PG qualification.
- Candidates willing to relocate to Coimbatore are preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
