About the Role
We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented photographer to capture high-quality images of interior spaces, furniture products, architectural elements, materials, and design projects across India.
The ideal candidate should have a strong eye for composition, lighting, styling, and storytelling through photography. This role involves extensive travel to client sites, showrooms, factories, design studios, residential projects, hotels, commercial spaces, and material suppliers.
Key ResponsibilitiesPhotography
- Photograph completed interior design projects.
- Capture furniture products for catalogues and marketing.
- Create professional material photography (wood, stone, laminates, fabrics, metal finishes, tiles, etc.).
- Shoot lifestyle and contextual images showcasing products within spaces.
- Produce both horizontal and vertical content suitable for websites, catalogues, social media, and marketplaces.
Project Execution
- Travel to project locations across India (approximately 90% travel).
- Coordinate with designers, architects, suppliers, and homeowners during shoots.
- Assess locations and plan lighting requirements.
- Manage multiple shoots within tight timelines.
Equipment & Setup
- Bring and maintain own professional photography equipment.
- Set up lighting and supporting accessories at shoot locations.
- Ensure backup equipment is available to avoid shoot disruptions.
Post-Production
- Perform image selection and curation.
- Basic to advanced editing, color correction, exposure balancing, and retouching.
- Deliver final images in agreed formats and resolutions.
- Organize and maintain image libraries.
Content Standards
- Ensure consistency across all photography projects.
- Follow brand guidelines and visual standards.
- Deliver publication-ready images suitable for print and digital use.
Required Skills & ExperienceTechnical Skills
- Professional photography experience in:
- Interior Photography
- Architectural Photography
- Furniture Photography
- Product Photography
- Material/Surface Photography
Software
Proficiency in:
- Adobe Lightroom
- Adobe Photoshop
- Capture One (preferred)
- Basic video editing skills are a plus
Equipment Requirements
Must own or have access to:
- Full-frame DSLR or Mirrorless Camera
- Wide-angle lenses (16–35mm preferred)
- Standard and portrait lenses
- Tripod
- Flash/Lighting Equipment
- Memory cards and backup storage
- Laptop for image review and backup
Drone photography experience is a plus.
Desired Qualifications
- 2–8+ years of professional photography experience.
- Portfolio showcasing interiors, architecture, furniture, or product photography.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication and client-facing skills.
- Comfortable with extensive travel across India.
