Position: Senior Service Engineer (ITMS)
Location: Bhubaneswar, Odisha

Job Summary
We are looking for a technically skilled and proactive Senior Service Engineer (ITMS) to manage and support the Intelligent Transport Management System (ITMS) across transport operations. The role involves ensuring maximum system uptime, maintaining GPS, CCTV, AFC/ETM systems, network infrastructure, hardware, and providing timely technical support to ensure uninterrupted operations.
Key Responsibilities1. ITMS System Management
- Ensure maximum uptime and smooth functioning of the ITMS platform.
- Monitor system performance and resolve technical issues proactively.
- Coordinate with vendors for software updates and technical support.
2. GPS & Vehicle Tracking
- Monitor GPS devices installed in vehicles and ensure accurate real-time tracking.
- Troubleshoot GPS connectivity and device-related issues.
- Maintain GPS performance records.
3. CCTV Monitoring System
- Ensure proper functioning of onboard and depot CCTV surveillance systems.
- Diagnose and resolve camera, DVR/NVR, and recording issues.
- Maintain CCTV system health and recording quality.
4. AFC / ETM Support
- Provide technical support for Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) systems and Electronic Ticketing Machines (ETMs).
- Ensure maximum availability of ticketing machines.
- Resolve hardware and software issues related to fare collection systems.
5. Hardware Maintenance
- Install, configure, and maintain IT hardware including desktops, laptops, routers, switches, printers, GPS units, CCTV devices, and other peripherals.
- Perform troubleshooting and repair of hardware components.
6. Network Connectivity
- Monitor LAN/WAN and internet connectivity across operational locations.
- Resolve network outages and coordinate with ISPs and vendors for restoration.
- Ensure reliable communication between ITMS devices and servers.
7. Complaint Resolution
- Attend user complaints and technical issues within defined turnaround times.
- Maintain service logs and ensure timely issue closure.
- Provide remote and onsite technical support as required.
8. MIS & Reporting
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly ITMS performance reports.
- Maintain records of incidents, maintenance activities, and system availability.
- Submit accurate MIS reports within timelines.
9. Preventive Maintenance
- Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance of all ITMS equipment.
- Ensure timely inspection, servicing, and health checks of devices.
- Maintain preventive maintenance records.
10. Vendor Coordination
- Coordinate with OEMs, vendors, and service providers for repairs, AMC activities, and spare replacement.
- Track vendor performance and ensure timely service delivery.
- Manage spare inventory for uninterrupted maintenance activities.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of ITMS, GPS, CCTV, AFC/ETM systems, networking, and computer hardware.
- Experience in troubleshooting network and hardware issues.
- Knowledge of Windows operating systems, LAN/WAN, routers, switches, and basic server management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and documentation abilities.
- Ability to coordinate with vendors and work under pressure.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Telecommunication, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience in ITMS, Intelligent Transportation Systems, GPS tracking, CCTV surveillance, networking, or field service engineering.
- Hands-on experience in preventive maintenance, technical support, and system troubleshooting.
- Willingness to travel within operational areas whenever required.
